Terms of Service

By using MCPLink ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What MCPLink is

MCPLink is a relay proxy that routes tool calls from AI assistants to your registered devices. You run the MCPLink client on your computer; AI assistants connect to your MCP endpoint to call tools. We provide the infrastructure that connects them.

2. Acceptable use

You may use MCPLink for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Use the Service to access systems or data you don't have permission to access
• Attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limits, or plan restrictions
• Use the Service to transmit malware, exploit code, or attack infrastructure
• Resell or sublicense access to the proxy without permission
• Automate registrations or create accounts in bulk
• Use the Service in ways that degrade performance for other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

3. Your MCP URL

Your MCP endpoint URL is your credential. Treat it like a password. Anyone with your URL can invoke tools on your device. We are not responsible for misuse resulting from a leaked URL. You can revoke and regenerate your URL at any time from your account page.

4. Plans and billing

Plan details, pricing, and included limits are described on the pricing page. These may change with reasonable notice.

• Free plans are provided as-is with no uptime guarantees.
• Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
• Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge.
• We may change plan pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.

5. Rate limits

Each plan includes a daily call limit and a per-minute burst limit. These are enforced to keep the Service fair and available for everyone. See the rate limits documentation for specifics. Hitting a limit returns an error — your device stays connected and the limit resets automatically.

6. Uptime and availability

We aim for high availability but make no uptime guarantees. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, security incidents, or reasons outside our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.

7. Data and privacy

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. In short: we don't log tool call content, we don't sell your data, and you can delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MCPLink and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify users via email if we have your address. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
